"Dare to Love Completely"
Thank you. I definitely needed to hear that! :) And I do. . . I try. . . I will try harder. . .
As for that two-parter I was going to do. . . yeah. . . not so much yet. I was up helping Dean study until 2am on Friday/Saturday morning and then was up around 8. YUCK. Then I needed to go spend sometime with my Gramps this weekend. So on Saturday, I took him out for an early birthday weekend. He'll be 83 on March 2nd. We went to Big Beve's. It was good. I think I surprised the waitress when I tipped $3 on a $13 meal. That's what I do in my neck of the woods and Gramps said I probably tipped her too much! But she was swamped and the only one working, so I felt bad.
Saturday night was game night at Dan's, so by the time I got back into town, I didn't have time to do anything besides make my cookies and get ready. We didn't leave Dan's until 1:30, and I was dying to know how Monk ended so I watched the finale I had taped on Friday, so I was probably up until 3am. Then on Sunday, I cleaned, bought a new vacuum, made some chili and cornbread, and Dean came over around 3, so I couldn't really write it when he was there. It's sort of about him and that would just be awkward! haha!! Plus after we ate, he helped me put together my new vacuum. AND I HAD to test it out and re-vacuum my entire place. And let me tell you: New vacuum=AWESOME. I'm glad I re-vacuumed!

Music Selections. . .
Songs I'm really enjoying at the moment:
Jason Mraz "I'm Yours"--mainly because it's just a good song. And I'm feeling the lyrics right now.
Landon Pigg "Love in a Coffee Shop"(really both of his songs on the radio right now) --again, just feeling the lyrics.
Dexter Freebish "Leaving Town"--I just like it.
Matthew West "Only Grace"--It's a great song. I know. . . it's a Christian Artist, but he's good.
Today, I had a moment of weakness. . . I didn't exactly READ the gossip columns but I did read the headlines. Is that cheating?? Not sure. I'll refer back to the song "Only Grace" and now I feel a little better. . . :)
Thought for the day: Apparently when you have a pity party, it can't last for more than 24 hours. I disagree. I think it can last for at least a month. I deserve it. I'm usually quite cheery except when it comes to my own life!

When Two Hearts Race, Both Win. . .
Thank you Dove Dark Chocolate for that reminder.
Why does it feel that my heart is the only one racing??

Everything I ever needed to know, I learned from Dove Chocolate. . .
About a month ago, I ran out of gum. So I went to Walgreens and bought some. . . and TWO bags of Dove chocolate because they were on sale 2/$4. Good Deal!
Anyway, throughout this last month I have been eating the chocolate and reading the sayings inside, and I think "Yes, the chocolate is indeed talking to me."
--Tell someone you love them.
--Be fearless.
--There's no excuse not to dream.
--Love without rules.
--There's a time for compromise. . .it's called "later."
--Just Dance.
I wish I kept track of all of them. I was thinking of implementing them in my "things to do for the day" list. I mean how hard is it to "Just Dance" really?!? I do that normally, but I would specifically make an effort for that day.
So if you're ever feeling bad, just go buy some Dove chocolates (I like the Dark Chocolate and the caramel filled), eat, and read the sayings. It will make your day go much smoother!! And who doesn't like chocolate??

Tits and Tats
Wait can I use tits in a post?? Isn't that a saying? Or is it Tit for Tat? I can't remember!!
I do have a two parter coming up, but I feel really weird writing it at work. Why? I don't know. Apparently I don't like writing about person stuff at work on my blog. Email, sure, but not my blog!! haha!!
Things that took me by surprise today (And no it would not be gossip related people! I'm really trying here!!!!):
--The guy from Varsity Blues and Not Another Teen Movie lost 315lbs. I'm not sure if you realize how different he looks now! I actually think I thought he was cuter chubby!

Not sure if you can even get that. Cut and paste it. I apologize. I'm not what you call "computer saavy" and really I don't have time to figure out how to post it nicely. I'm being honest!
--We got 5.7 inches of snow yesterday. And it was all wet and mushy yesterday but today it's so cold (-5) that it looks as if it's still wet and mushy, but in reality, FROZEN. SOLID. I mean it makes sense and all considering the temp, but it's like a mirage in a way. Plus it's sunny out, which is always deceiving in the winter.
--I had a PB and choc chip cookie today. It was fantastic. Thank you for asking.
--Apparently I got cookie crumbs everywhere. (This shouldn't be a surprise but I keep finding crumbs everywhere! Seriously people!!)
Enjoy your day! I'll try not to fall on the ice and snow!!

Today. . .
Yeah, It's amazing how creative I'm becoming with these titles as of late. I'll pat myself on the back later.
So guess what folks?!? I am just not feeling like doing work and the Gossip columns are CALLING to me. I want to know why "No lovely baby bump for Fergie." It's killing me. And I want to know what exactly Ryan Phillipe opened up about with the split.
I do read REAL news. . . don't get me wrong. .. it's just that. . . well. . . I like the Gossip. And I should state as of a month ago, I did quit reading anything that had something to do with Britney Spears because I really just feel sorry for her. Leave her alone people! Seriously!!
And now for my Paris Hilton tirade. She is what is wrong with the fabric of American youth today. And as much as she tries to convince the world she is a "real" person, she isn't and proves it time and time again. The attention and press she gets makes me sick to my stomach really. And the fact that she was on Larry King Live about her whole jail thing and how she wrote to Barbara Walters about it even more induced the vomiting in my mouth. I hate to say she may be a waste of space, but I might actually think that. I just don't think she's a good person. If you have to convince yourself and the world you are indeed a good person, perhaps you need to step back and think about it. I've never really heard anything nice about her (even with regards to the sex tape. . .hmmm. .. ) and if you're a good person, most people are made aware. Jennifer Garner--you always hear how great she is. Reese Witherspoon--nice and caring. I don't think I've ever really heard that about Paris on the cuff. Maybe if someone was asked that at a press junket for a movie they did with her, but other than that, I can't say I have. Well enough ranting. I must get back to work.

Happy Birthday H!!!
I just wanted to do a shout out to H! Because in all honesty, the way this day has been going, the only bright spot in it, is knowing, today is the day that H was brought into my world. Thank you H for being born*!!!
And I being a favorite cousin (and friend) called dear H on my way into work and sang her Happy Birthday. The conversation went something like this:
H: Hello.
A: Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday Dear H, Happy Birthday to you!! (in my best sultry singing voice I could muster up at 8:30ish in the morning)
H: Thank you. Thank you. Sometimes I wish I could tape record all of our conversations!
A: Really?!? Me too. Do you want me to call back and sing it to you on your cell phone voicemail?
H: No. That's okay.
A: Nice. Real Nice.
H: I mean, I really don't want to listen to Happy Birthday all the time. Once is enough.
I'm pretty sure she was just being nice. . . but whatever, I still might try out for American Idol.
*I would like to also take this time in saying that I have been told by numerous sources (Okay, my mom and dad) that Rabbit didn't want kids until she was around my sister and I, and since we were perfect specimen of children in both behavior and utter adorableness, she and Crab decided to go for it and have H. So technically, YOU'RE WELCOME H!!! :)
